How to Prepare Your Web Marketing for the Holidays

Summer is over so that means preparing for school and for a web marketing overhaul. Is your web presence marketing strategy ready?

Hey everybody, Geoff Radcliffe here from Post Launch. Summer’s over. We’re back to the grind. Our kids are back in school. We’re back to work full time again. Hope everyone had a fantastic summer vacation.

It’s September now (believe it or not), and we want you to start prepping your business. For most of you in business, you’re going to find that as you get into the holiday shopping season, you’re going to see a drop in online visitors. This happens to most of our clients every single year. It’s an unfortunate thing.

What Post Launch does, we prep and plan and capitalize on what people are looking at. If you have an e-commerce platform, e-commerce business or if you have a website that’s servicing people, then we really have to make it exciting because we’re competing against all that noise, all those Santa Clauses ringing those bells telling people to come in and buy, buy, buy, buy!

So, we really, really need to pump up of the effectiveness of your content marketing and web marketing campaigns this time of year to keep that traffic coming to your site. But, don’t be surprised if you see a little dip in the holiday season. A drop in web traffic doesn’t mean people don’t want to do business with you; it doesn’t mean you’re going to have to shut your doors. It just means people are focused on their holiday shopping, their Christmas shopping, their Kwanza shopping, so it’s important to recognize this is about to happen and prep yourself accordingly.

Preparing for your holiday web marketing begins with the right help.
